Aliya Haider
Deputy General Counsel, Bombora

Aliya Haider is the Deputy General Counsel at Bombora, a multinational technology firm that focuses on a form of big data called intent data that tells customers which businesses are researching their products and services. Prior to that she was the Acting General Counsel at a financial advisory firm, asset manager and General Counsel and COO of a fintech startup, and Director & Head of Capital Markets Regulatory at Guggenheim Securities. Prior to Guggenheim, she worked at major investment banks, including 7 years at JPMorgan Chase, as Managing Counsel for the Global Corporate Bank; in that role, Aliya helped build the legal infrastructure for the bank’s expansion into emerging economies. Before JPMorgan, Aliya defended women’s health at the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR). Prior to that she worked at Heller Ehrman, LLP, a law firm in New York City.  She has served as an adjunct law professor at two law schools and has published research in the field of human rights law. Aliya has a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was a Truman Scholar, an M.Sc., with distinction, from the London School of Economics, and a B.A., summa, Phi Beta Kappa, in International Relations & Fine Art from Columbia University. She lives in Manhattan with her young son.
