Eric Liftin
Lead Advisor, Architecture and Pop-up Education Design

Eric Liftin is the principal of Mesh Architectures, a hybrid architectural practice founded in 1997 to connect physical and virtual design. MESH has designed a wide range of projects, large and small, residential and commercial. Eric earned a master’s degree in architecture from Columbia University in 1994, and a BA in literature from Yale University in 1990. After working at New York architecture firms, including Bernard Tschumi Architects, Butler Rogers Baskett, and Resolution:4 Architecture, he worked at an early pioneer Web startup, Firefly, before starting MESH. He is an adjunct assistant professor of real estate development at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation.
